First start of Windows server

What you need

  • Stable internet connection
  • A forwarded UDP port 8890

Getting server files

Go to the latest topic on forum and get server for Windows platform. Unpack it in any folder you want.

Configure your Server

After the first step you should open server.cfg file and change parameters to yours. Don't forget to change rcon_password.
NOTE: don't use changeme1 like rcon password, that isn't good to use it.

Executing the Server

The last step is to launch server, run rwmp-server.exe to start it and then you can play!

First start of Linux server

What you need

  • A Linux server with SSH access, libc++6 and an SSH client such as PuTTy
  • Stable internet connection
  • A forwarded UDP port 8890

Getting server files

Follow that instructions to download and unpack archive with linux server:

root@user:~#  wget http://files.rw-mp.net/public/rwmp-013a-server-linux86.tar.gz
root@user:~#  tar -zxf  rwmp*.tar.gz

Configure your Server

Open your server.cfg using nano command or similar to it and change parameters to yours. Don't forget to change rcon_password.
NOTE: don't use changeme1 like rcon password, that isn't good to use it.

Executing the Server

Run server with command in background:

root@user:~# ./rwmp-server &

After that instruction you can close it with CTRL + C and work with other commands. To stop that process you can use:

root@user:~# pkill rwmp-server

And then you will get own Linux server.
